Your Trusted Legal Counsel

Sherry K. Myers is a native of York, Pennsylvania. She moved to Maryland to pursue her legal education and enjoyed Baltimore so much that she decided to make it her permanent home. Living so close to the Baltimore/York County border, Sherry is fortunate to be able to enjoy the progressive culture of Baltimore as well as the laid back charm of colonial York.

Sherry graduated summa cum laude from Stevenson University (formerly, Villa Julie College) where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies.  Sherry subsequently earned her Juris Doctor degree, graduating with honors from the University of Baltimore School of Law.  While at UB, Sherry focused her studies on the family, earning a concentration in the field of Family Law as well as several certifications in Family and Child Access Mediation.  Sherry was also fortunate enough during her time at law school, to have the opportunity to participate in the University of Baltimore's Family Mediation Clinic.  Through this clinical experience, Sherry had the privilege of serving as volunteer mediator to assist custody litigants in working out their own unique custody agreements.  In addition, Sherry also successfully assisted families facing foreclosure of their homes in utilizing mediation to prevent the foreclosure process.  Sherry's work with the UB Mediation Clinic, in conjunction with the Baltimore City Circuit Court and the Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland, is a pro bono effort that she continues to this day.

Sherry spent 8 years as a litigation paralegal before becoming an attorney.  During that time, Sherry started Paralegal Services Plus, LLC, offering paralegal support services to Baltimore area attorneys on a contract basis.  Sherry first earned her license to practice law in Maryland and, just a few short years later, also earned her license to practice law in Pennsylvania.  Before starting her own firm, Sherry worked as an associate attorney at Summerfield, Willen, Silverberg & Limsky, LLC, in Baltimore, Maryland. While at SWSL, Sherry focused her practice in the areas of Family Law, Civil Litigation, and Landlord/Tenant matters, and she has represented numerous clients, from the District Courts up to the appellate-level courts in both Maryland and Pennsylvania.

In May 2015, Sherry opened The Law Offices of Sherry K. Myers, LLC, with offices in both Baltimore, MD and York, PA. Her goal is to provide her clients with sound legal advice and zealous advocacy.
